In early June, news broke that the George W. Bush Foundation had entered into an agreement to assume sole control of the museum operations of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum (Bush Library), located on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

On July 1, prices for SAA's course offerings will increase by 10%. This increase, which was included in the Fiscal Year 2023 budget approved by the Council, will cover a number of improvements, including:

June 3, 2022—The SAA Preservation Section invites you to contribute an item for the silent auction to be held on Thursday and Friday, August 25 and 26, at the SAA Annual Meeting, ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2022, at the Sheraton Boston Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. We are looking for items from either repositories or regions that you feel might be interesting to others - and handcrafted items are especially popular! You do not have to attend the conference in person to be able to donate an item.

The Society of American Archivists' Mentoring Program is currently seeking additional mentoring volunteers! The Mentoring Program connects participants with shared interests in various aspects of the archival profession into 6-month mentoring partnerships. The goal is to cultivate career development and communication between members with areas of expertise and members who want to build their knowledge within those areas.
