Directory of Archival Education

The Directory of Archival Education was created to assist prospective students in making informed decisions about their graduate archival education. Our goal is to make the Directory the single most comprehensive compilation of archival education providers.*

To that end, we invite education providers to create or update their listing information, including how their courses correlate with SAA’s Guidelines for a Graduate Program in Archival Studies (GPAS)There is no cost to create or update your listing.

For more information about listing your education program or to update your current listing, please contact the SAA Education Department at education@archivists.org or call 866-722-7858. For minor updates to your program's listing, you can also submit an update request to the Graduate Archival Education Subcommittee.

*The Society of American Archivists does not accredit archival education and training programs, institutes, or courses.  Inclusion in the Directory of Archival Education does not imply endorsement or approval by SAA.
