March 29, 2024—This week, the Society of American Archivists (SAA) welcomes former SAA President Terry Baxter (Multnomah County Records and Archives) as a returning Council member for the 2023–2024 term. This transition follows the departure of Dominique Luster, who has been instrumental in advancing and supporting SAA.
SAA looks forward to the initiatives and advancements that Baxter will bring to the Council. With his collaboration, the SAA Council will continue its mission of promoting the highest standards in archival management, outreach, and education, ensuring the rich tapestry of our history endures for generations to come.
