SAA Foundation Annual Meeting Awards Support 12 Archivists

August 21, 2023—The SAA Foundation Board is pleased to announce that more than $15,000 was awarded this July to 12 archivists to support their attendance at ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2023. Congratulations to all!

• Nine archivists were awarded $1,200 to support travel and in-person attendance at the 2023 SAA + CoSA Joint Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. These recipients are: Ia Kholan Gregory Bull, Alaina Smith, Ayaha Elkossei, Esther Park, Savannah Etzler, Katie Kerekes, Whitney Gaines, Katy Jones-Gulsy, and Amanda Hardt Sorensen.
• Three archivists received complimentary virtual registration for the conference. These recipients are: Laura Jones, Madison Zehmer, and Lashaunda Croussore. 

These Annual Meeting Awards are made possible by the SAA Foundation Strategic Growth Fund, which supports the Foundation’s strategic priorities, including professional and public education, publications, and research.
