Be Part of the Navigator Program

Attention all attendees of the Society of American Archivists Annual Meeting 2025!

Do you want to help a colleague get oriented with attending SAA? Consider signing up to be a Navigator. New to the SAA Annual Meeting? Apply to be a Navagatee. To apply for both use this Google Form.

The Navigator Program is a short-term networking opportunity that matches experienced Annual Meeting attendees with newer meeting attendees, or anyone who is interested in receiving guidance on the Annual Meeting or networking. Navigators share their experience, advise you on sessions and special events that are likely to suit your interests, and facilitate networking with other attendees. Program participants are welcome to chat over a virtual coffee, tea, or lunch, and talk about SAA, careers, goals, challenges, life experiences; whatever you like that would be helpful to the newer attendee. This year, the Navigator Program and SAA Mentoring Program are partnering to bring you a virtual or in-person Navigator Program.

Deadline to request or volunteer as a navigator is Monday, July 30. You'll be contacted about a match in the second week of August.
