Conference Registration

We’re excited to have you join us for ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2024. SAA continues its commitment to accessibility and will host its third hybrid annual meeting. A hybrid meeting offers events either in-person, virtual, or hybrid (livestreamed). Your registration helps offset actual hybrid meeting costs and supports SAA's year-round activities, including advocacy, periodicals, low-cost online and in-person courses, and program development. Registration passes (all access or virtual only) include on-demand access to recorded sessions post conference.

The main conference will be held Thursday, August 15, through Saturday, August 17 with education sessions and posters accepted by the 2024 Program Committee presented, along with two plenaries, open forums, vendor mini-theaters, virtual conversation lounges, and a variety of other networking events. 

NOTE: SAA Section meetings, appointed group meetings, and the SAA Research Forum will occur in July and August prior to the start of the Annual Meeting and have separate (free) registration.

SAA Student Member Rate: Full members are not eligible for the SAA Student member rate. 

Cancellations and Refunds: If for any reason you must cancel your registration, your written request must be received before June 10, 2024, to receive a full refund. A $100 handling charge will be assessed for written cancellations postmarked between June 11 and June 30. No refunds will be issued after June 30.

Guest Option:  This option (designed especially for spouses and children of conference attendees) allows the guest to attend the Plenary Sessions, the Exhibit Hall, and the SAAF Reception. Guest registrations may be purchased at the Onsite Registration Desk starting on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 in the headquarters hotel.
