Leslie C. Waggener
Leslie C. Waggener holds a B. A. in Anthropology and Archeological Studies and an MLIS from the University of Texas at Austin.
She joined the reference faculty at the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center (AHC) in December, 2000, where she maintains the photographic collection at the AHC. This collection has grown to nearly one million images.
Leslie also works with patrons desiring publication of AHC images
in their works by assisting them with the permissions process. In addition,
she assists researchers in answering photo-related reference requests. Leslie
has been teaching workshops in the identification and preservation of photographic
materials for five years to community groups, state historical societies and
at regional archives conferences.
