Mahnaz Ghaznavi
Mahnaz Ghaznavi is currently the Records Manager in the Institutional Records and Archives department of the J. Paul Getty Trust; the department serves all of the programs of the Trust, including the Getty Conservation Institute, the Research Institute, the Museum, the Foundation, and central Administration.
She is also adjunct faculty in the Information Studies Department at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she teaches courses from on records and archives issues.
Mahnaz also served as a researcher on the Policy Cross-Domain Team of InterPARES 2 Research Project, which focused on electronic records creation, maintenance, and preservation issues in the domains of the arts, sciences, and e-government.
Mahnaz holds a Masters in Library and Information Science Information Studies, University of California, Los Angeles; a Master of Arts in Italian, Columbia University, New York, NY; a Bachelor of Arts in History, University of California, Los Angeles, and she’s a Candidate in Philosophy in Cultural Studies, Literature, University of California, San Diego, in La Jolla, CA
