Protecting your holdings remains a big challenge as you continue to hear about theft, damage, or just plain oversight. In this workshop, you’ll get a fresh look at the issues including security, post-theft response, and key infrastructure. And, at the end, everything you’ve learned will be tested in an exercise that has you doing a survey, completing a checklist, and creating an action plan.

Identify risks that need to be addressed
Detect ways to reduce the risk of theft, damage, and loss in your institution
Name the resources you need to compile for effective response
Develop an action plan
Who Should Attend: 

Archivists and others who are responsible for keeping the holdings of their institutions safe. This workshop will be of benefit whether you are a lone arranger or an administrator at a larger institution.
