H.R. 6056, “To authorize the Archivist of the United States to make grants to States for the preservation and dissemination of historical records,” was introduced by Reps. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY-22) and Chris Cannon (R-UT) and referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on May 14. |
(1) Ask your members of Congress to sign on as an original sponsor. (2) Tell your Representative in a few sentences why PAHR will benefit his or her constituents—that means you, your organization, and your researchers.
