Guantanamo Detainee Records May Be in Jeopardy; SAA and Others Seek Clarification
A protective order issued by the US District Court for the District of Columbia raises concerns about permanent retention of Guantanamo detainee court case files. SAA has requested clarification from the chief judge and the Archivist of the United States, and has joined with the National Coalition for History to sign on to a letter from OpenTheGovernment.org on this critical issue.
