fanfold

n.A continuous sheet of paper that is folded in a regular, alternating fashion.

Notes

Fanfold is usually perforated at the folds so that it can be separated into standard-sized sheets. It is usually intended for use in a computer printer; it often has holes along the edges to allow a tractor feeder to move it past a print mechanism. Fanfold has become less common with the introduction of laser and inkjet printers, which use precut sheets.
